The container shipping line group, Ocean Network Express (ONE), is launching a new Indian Ocean Express (IOX) service, connecting India, Sri Lanka and Pakistan with North Europe. Additionally, a transshipment service via Colombo is intended to cater to the requirements of customers in East India and Bangladesh.

The inaugural voyage from Nhava Sheva to North Europe will commence on 5th February 2025 with the sailing of the Hyundai Oakland. Given ongoing security concerns in the Red Sea, IOX will operate via the Cape of Good Hope, with a service rotation of Karachi, Hazira, Mundra, Nhava Sheva, Colombo, London Gateway, Rotterdam, Hamburg and Antwerp, before a return voyage to Karachi.
