He is the founder Chairman of Lanka Shipping & Logistics Pvt) Ltd and is the Group Chairman of CASS Group of Companies. The Group was formulated in 2010 and encompasses Lanka Shipping and Logistics (Pvt) Ltd, Simatech Marine Lanka , Perma Shipping Lanka and other affiliate companies.
Saliya is a highly reputed maritime and supply chain professional with over 40 years of local and international exposure. During his long career, he has gained significant expertise in a wide range of activities in LINER Shipping (Mainline/NVOCC), FEEDER shipping, Supply Chain Management and Marine Services etc as a Principal, as well as an Agent.
He started his shipping career with the Ceylon Shipping Corporation (CSC), the National Shipping Line and held many senior positions within the company. His initial overseas posting was in the 1980’s as Regional Representative (Europe) for CSC (based in London for 5 years) – for a pioneering Full Container Service. Saliya had a very successful 15 years stint (1990-2005) in UAE/Dubai representing leading Feeder/Regional carriers (Xpress Feeders and Samudera Shipping Line) as the Regional Managing Director. His outstanding contributions and achievements brought him high recognition from the maritime community in the region and beyond.
Among other positions held during his career are, as Director of Sri Lanka Ports Authority (SLPA) and several senior positions (as Managing Director/Group Director, etc.) in leading shipping companies in Sri Lanka. He holds a “Post Graduate Diploma” in Ports & Shipping Administration from the University of Wales (UWIST), Cardiff (UK), and is a “Fellow” of the Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport (CILT). He also held the positions of CILT International Vice President as well as Chairman of CILT Sri Lanka. He was bestowed the prestigious ‘Pegasus Award’ by CILT INTERNATIONAL in 2014 in recognition of his special contributions and achievements.
Saliya continues to be actively involved in adding value to the Organization as well as the Industry. He is presently a Member of the Advisory Board of CASA (Ceylon Association of Shipping Agents), and a Member of SLAVO (Sri Lanka Association of Vessel Operators)
Mr. Deepal Sooriyaarachchi

A graduate from the University of Jayewardenepura,Deepal is an accredited Master Coach and Mentor(ACM & AMM). Counting over thirty years of experience in the fields of sales, advertising, marketing, human resource development and strategy. A renowned Management Consultant, Speaker and trainer. Before embarking on full-time consultancy work was the Managing Director of AVIVANDB Insurance PLC (now known as AIA Insurance) Originally CTC Eagle, he served for the UNDP in Nepal, on Regional Practice Boards of Zurich Financial Services. He also served on the Councils of the Universities of Moratuwa, and Kelaniya. Currently serves as Non-Executive Independent Director of AIAInsurance Lanka PLC. He has also served on the director boards of Sampath Bank PLC, Singer Sri Lanka PLC, Pan Asian Power PLC,
Mr. Ranil De Silva

A Fellow Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants UK, an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka and a Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing UK, he began his career at Ernst & Young and has worked overseas with a multi-national company for 10 years.
Ranil has wide experience in diverse industries, having previously held the position of Group CEO of the DCSL Group, he is also an Independent Director of Singer Sri Lanka PLC, Singer Industries PLC and Regnis Lanka PLC. He has also held the positions of Joint MD of Aitken Spence Hotels and MD of Serendib Leisure Management Limited. He is also a member of the Executive Committee of the Tourist Hotels Association of Sri Lanka.
Mrs. Indira Malwatte

Indira Malwatte holds a Combined Degree in Economics and Geography from the University of Peradeniya Sri Lanka and was the first woman Chairperson of the EDB.
She has over 40 years of experience in serving the Government both internationally and locally as a Top Export Promotion Professional. Her in-depth knowledge of multi sectors ranging from Industrial, Agricultural, Services, Supply Chain Management, and International Marketing has led to her serving as a Director in several companies, Government Corporates and a variety of industries. She was the focal point on a number of World Bank, ITC, GIZ, CBI and JETRO export development projects.
In July 2016 she was internationally recognized for her long years of service in Business & Commerce with The Wifts Foundation Lifetime Achievement Award 2016-Business in London, UK. She was the first Sri Lankan to be bestowed with this honor. She was also recognized by Zonta Sri Lanka with the “Woman of Achievement” Award on Management in September 2017 and Women in Management Top 50 Professional & Career Woman Gold 2018 State & Government Sector in 2018. She was featured on “The 2018 A – List of Sri Lanka Business People” by the LMD Magazine.
Currently, she is an Independent Non-Executive Director of Cargills PLC., an Independent Non-Executive Director of Samson PLC and engaged in Consultancies on International Trade and Developing the SME Sector and Women Entrepreneurship
Mr. Ananda Senanayake

Started his career in the UK, working in Investment Banking (2007 -2011) – representing Goldman Sachs, Lehman Brothers and The Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) Thereafter he was re-located to Singapore by RBS for 2 years. Started his shipping/logistics career in 2013 (in Sri Lanka) as Executive Director at Lanka Shipping & Logistics/CASS Group of Companies, and is presently the Group MD. His dedication and commitment to the industry won him the prestigious “Maritime Standard-Young Person in Shipping Award” for 2019 in Dubai. Chartered Member (CMILT) of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) and a Member (MICS) of The Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers (ICS). Member of the Executive Committee of the Ceylon Association of Shipping Agents (CASA) and Sri Lanka Association of NVOCC Agents (SLANA). Ana is a leading personality in the Maritime and Logistics industry, and associated with various forums and entrepreneurial groups involved in contributing to the development of Sri Lanka’s economy.
