Beyond his corporate triumphs, Mohan is a highly respected diplomat and industry advocate. He serves as the Honorary Consul of the United Mexican States (Mexico) to Sri Lanka and is an active Council Member of the Employers’ Federation of Ceylon. Ruwan’s extensive corporate leadership is anchored by his long-standing tenure at Hayleys Advantis Group, where he was appointed to the Hayleys Group Management Committee and named Managing Director in 2011. In addition to his corporate achievements, Ruwan is heavily involved in national trade development and international diplomacy. He serves as the Honorary Consul of the Kingdom of Cambodia to Sri Lanka and holds key bilateral roles, including Vice President of the Sri Lanka-Japan Business Council and Executive Committee Member of the Council for Business with Britain. His career is defined by a proven track record of steering large-scale logistics operations and driving strategic corporate growth across regional and international borders.
Shano’s extensive leadership journey began in 1985 when he joined the Hayleys Advantis Group. Demonstrating sharp commercial acumen early on, he was appointed to a subsidiary Board of Directors in 1999 and ascended to the Group Management Committee in 2007. His strategic leadership was further solidified with his appointment to the main Board of Directors of Hayleys Advantis Group in 2013, culminates in his appointment as the Group’s Deputy Managing Director in 2022.
An executive with valuable global exposure, Shano spent three years stationed in Malaysia in a senior management capacity for one of the world’s largest European-based global container carriers. This international tenure gave him a sophisticated, macro-level understanding of global liner operations and supply chain dynamics, which he brought back to the Sri Lankan maritime sector upon his return in 2011.
Currently, Shano serves at the helm of the local maritime industry as the Chairman of the Ceylon Association of Shipping Agents (CASA), playing a critical role in shaping national shipping policies and driving industry advancement. Academically, he holds an MBA from the University of Wales (UK) and has refined his strategic management capabilities through advanced executive development programs at both the National University of Singapore and the Indian School of Business.

With over 25 years of extensive experience in strategic planning, operations, and advanced business analytics, his multi-disciplinary expertise strengthens the company’s financial governance and commercial trajectory.
Virendra’s illustrious career includes pivotal leadership roles across both local and international markets. He was appointed Chief Strategy Officer of the Advantis Group in 2017, serving as an influential Member of the Group Management Committee. Expanding his regional footprint, he was appointed Country Head and Executive Director of Advantis Singapore in February 2023. By November 2023, his leadership was further solidified as he assumed the role of Group Finance Director and was appointed a Board Director of Hayleys Advantis Limited.
An active contributor to national industry frameworks, Virendra has lent his strategic insights to several leading professional bodies. He served as a Director and the Past Treasurer of the Sri Lanka Association of Software and Service Companies (SLASSCOM) from 2014 to 2015, and later on the Advisory Board of its Business Process Management (BPM) forum for 2021/22. Additionally, he served as a Director of the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts (CFA) Sri Lanka between 2007 and 2010.

Since formulating the Group in 2010—incorporating Lanka Shipping & Logistics, Simatech Marine Lanka, and Perma Shipping Lanka—he has steered the organization toward its current position as a leading global carrier.
With over 40 years of local and international exposure, Saliya is a highly reputed authority in Liner Shipping (Mainline/NVOCC), Feeder operations, and Supply Chain Management. His career is marked by high-level experience as both a Principal and an Agent, giving him a unique 360-degree perspective on marine services.
Saliya’s professional journey began at the Ceylon Shipping Corporation (CSC), where he held several senior roles, including a pivotal five-year tenure as Regional Representative for Europe, based in London. He later spent 15 years in Dubai (1990–2005) as the Regional Managing Director for industry leaders Xpress Feeders and Samudera Shipping Line. His tenure in the UAE earned him widespread recognition for his transformative contributions to the Middle Eastern maritime community.
In Sri Lanka, his leadership has extended to the public sector as a Director of the Sri Lanka Ports Authority (SLPA), alongside senior Managing Director roles in the private sector. A Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport (CILT), Saliya has served as CILT International Vice President and Chairman of CILT Sri Lanka. In 2014, he was honored with the prestigious Pegasus Award by CILT International for his exceptional lifelong contributions.

Ananda launched his professional career in the United Kingdom, working within the high-stakes investment banking sector from 2007 to 2011, where he represented global financial institutions including Goldman Sachs, Lehman Brothers, and The Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS). Following a subsequent two-year relocation to Singapore by RBS, he transitioned into the maritime industry in 2013, returning to Sri Lanka to serve as an Executive Director—and later Group Managing Director—at Lanka Shipping & Logistics and the CASS Group of Companies.
Ananda’s exceptional leadership and profound dedication to the maritime industry have earned him top-tier regional accolades. In 2019, he was honored in Dubai with the prestigious “Maritime Standard – Young Person in Shipping” Award, cementing his reputation as a visionary executive within the global maritime community.
